o Chromium-Zirconium-Copper Alloy refers to the precipitation-hardening low alloy copper, adding chromium and/or zirconium with other microelements. This material is distinguished by good electrical and thermal conductivity, high strength values, even at increased temperatures, high hardness, wear-resisting, antiknock, and high softening temperature,
• Applications
o CuCr1Zr is widely used in electrical equipment, in plant construction and mould plates. Among those, it can be used as electrical contact, sprung conductor, electrode holder, nozzle, high temperature busbars, and moulds for resin products.
• Examples
o Resistance welding electrode; Continuous casting mold lining; Integrated circuit lead frame; Overhead conductors for trams and electric locomotives; Contact materials and blast furnace tuyere sleeve; Rotor end rings, Exciter rails; Roller electrodes, spot welding electrodes, Elelctrode hubs, jaws for flash butt welding systems; Parts in accelerator systems subject to high electrical and thermal stress; Ingot moulds for grey cast iron and cast steel; Cast wheels and continuous casting moulds; Moulds for resin and plastic products; Commutator segment for motor commutator.

Quality Inspection Method
• Digital displayed eddy current conductance meter is used to measure the conductivity of finished products.
• The hardness of the finished product was measured by vertical automatic rockwell hardness tester.
• he contents of various components of chrome-zirconium copper were tested by advanced spectroscopic analyzer.
• Use ultrasonic flaw detector to nondestructive test whether the finished product has internal defects.
• Digital inspection instruments can significantly reduce the random errors generated by manual measurement and reading, with more accurate data and better quality control.
